I’m absolutely smitten with the stuff people have been doing using the on-demand book printer Lulu lately (see also: Russell Davies’ awesome custom notebooks), but I think this project is my absolute favorite. James Bridle has collected two years of his tweets in the form of a lovely hardcover book he can peruse long after Twitter has been replaced by whatever comes next. Briana and I were just thinking that it’d be awesome to do our own personal versions with occasional illustrations in that Dickensian style that incorporates an excerpt from the text into the engraving. Too bad Twitter has essentially made my earliest tweets inaccessible—I wish I had been backing them up all along.
Update: I take it back—my tweets are accessible all the way back to the very first again! Thanks Twitter!
