Slaving over a hot grill and hustling to pump out three ambitious meals a day with new colleagues might not be everyone’s idea of a team building exercise, but for me it was the perfect bonding experience. The fact that Tumblr engineering can really bring it the kitchen is the best confirmation I could have gotten that I’ve joined the right team.
