Interface design for “Weightbot” iPhone App
(via Andrew Wilkinson)
In addition to just being generally graphically slick, I think this app exemplifies a lot of good practices for iPhone interface design: big chunky display that presents no more than a simplified “screenful” of information (as Apple’s UI sessions at WWDC kept driving home), large button targets, device-like feel (see the section on “Utility Applications” in the iPhone Human Interface Guidelines’ “Three Application Styles” section). This looks like something I’d be motivated to use just because its UI is a pleasure.
