When we got our new HDTV awhile back I was shocked at how the default high frame rate setting made beautifully shot shows like “Breaking Bad” look like cheesy PAL “Dr. Who” episodes from the 70s. We were pretty relieved when we discovered there was a way to get rid of the effect.
