Spoon: “You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb” Video
I joined my friend Tim and a bunch of interesting people in South Austin today, and I was surprised to find video artist and designer Ryan Junell, an acquaintance from San Francisco, among them. I was pretty impressed to learn that he had just done a video for the latest Spoon single “You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb,” and even more impressed when I got a chance to actually check out his witty, graphically bold stop motion work (it doesn’t hurt that I love the song). It’s too bad it was made too late to get into the SXSW Film music video showcase, because I think it would have been a shoo-in.
